Purpose: Art Club is the perfect way to inspire your creative side by developing your painting skills, creating drawings, and learning about different artists. We will focus on an artist every month and learn about their unique styles. Then we will create our own art piece with that artist's style. Come join art club and create with us!

Purpose: Basketball Club is the perfect way to build your skills, stay active, and grow as a team player. We will focus on a different skill each month—like shooting, dribbling, defense, and teamwork. You’ll also learn about legendary players and what made them great. Then we’ll put those skills into action through drills and games. Come join Basketball Club and train with us!

Purpose: Join us as we explore the world of books with tone and expression! In this club, students will build confidence in reading aloud while enjoying a variety of exciting genres. Together, we’ll make reading fun, engaging, and full of expression!

Purpose: The Panther Cheer Team is a fun and spirited group of students who come together to support our school’s basketball and soccer teams during home games. We will also perform at school assemblies and pep-rallies. Club members will learn basic cheerleading skills, chants, and simple routines to help boost school spirit and encourage our athletes. The club is open to 3rd-5th grade students, all skill levels are welcome and we are gender inclusive, anyone can join! This club is a great way for students to build confidence, teamwork, and school pride all while having a blast on the sidelines!
Students are encouraged to join the Tuesday dance club as well as the Cheer Team.

Purpose: Club members will explore and experience different aspects and styles of dance through learning dance skills, combinations, and monthly choreography. We will also work to improve flexibility, core and overall strength, and creativity! If you are planning to participate in Thursday's Cheer Team with Ms. EJ, it is encouraged to join this club as well for extra opportunities!

Purpose: Scholars in 2-5 grades will be helping to plant and tend to the community garden we are putting in at our school. Scholars will learn what a plant needs to grow, the different types of care they require, and how to harvest food/flowers from the plants. This will be a primarily outdoor club as weather permits.

Purpose: Do you have an interest of being on stage? How about making things for the theater. Well this is the clube for you. We will be exploring the three main principles of theater (acting, singing, dancing). As well as the technical side such as set design, prop making and costume design.

Purpose: The Ping Pong Club is a fun and active group for 2nd to 5th graders! Students will learn the basics of table tennis, including hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. It's a great way to stay fit, make new friends, and develop focus and reflexes—all while having a blast! Join us to serve up some fun!

Purpose: Math Kangaroo is an annual international mathematical competition. Math Kangaroo's focus is on improving scholars' math scores and teaching them new strategies for solving word and logic problems, helping them with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom.
Olympiad Team - Geography (4-5)

Purpose: The Geography Olympiad participants will compete in the annual International Geography Bee. Students will compete through an online qualifying exam that will test their knowledge of world geography. Students who qualify, will be able to move on to the Regionals level and try for Nationals.
UIL Creative Writing (2)

Purpose:
The contest is designed to promote creativity in an academic format and to encourage writing skills at an early grade level. Through preparation for the contest, students in second grade will be able to evaluate their own writing and the writing of others.
Contestants will be given a prompt with several captioned pictures. From these pictures, the students will create an original story based on their selections in 30 minutes. The stories must contain at least one of the pictured items, but it is not required that all items on the page be included.
Selected students from the campus level will participate in the District UIL Competition in March 2026.
UIL Music Memory (3-5)

Purpose: The focus of the music memory contest is an in-depth study of fine pieces of music literature taken from a wide spectrum of music genres to expose students to great composers, their lives and their music.
Selected students from the campus level will participate in the District UIL Competition in Spring 2025.
UIL Spelling (3-5) & Dictionary Skills (5)

Purpose: UIL spelling will give students exposure to a wide variety of vocabulary words. We will learn meanings, definitions, and root words while preparing to spell in the UIL spelling competition.
5th grade scholars will also have the opportunity to compete in the Dictionary Skills Competition. Thorough knowledge of the dictionary is a way to increase a student’s ability to find the information that is needed for class work as well as everyday living.
Selected students from the campus level will participate in the District UIL Competition in Spring 2025.
UIL Ready Writing (3-5)

Purpose: In the Ready Writing Contest, the students are given two hours to write expository compositions. They have a choice between two prompts, each an excerpt from literature, publications (past and present) or speeches. Selected students from the campus level will participate in the District UIL Competition in Spring 2025.
